Episode Two: Zombieland

As the threat of climate change becomes more and more urgent and present in our lives, it starts to influence the stories we tell. Fiction changes the question of "how can we mitigate climate change?" into "how do we avert the apocalypse?"

Zombieland, like most zombie movies, is a post-apocalyptic story that asks how do humans adapt to a large-scale global disaster. In 2020, this reads like a pandemic story, but this episode explores how this story relates to climate grief by looking at Tallahassee's search for a Twinkie.

EDIT: Apologies for the audio quality. I'm still getting the hang of recording and editing audio, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't get the last of that background hiss out.
